Founded in 1989 by Erik Brown and Adrian Day, Publishing Business is still owned by its original shareholders and is one of the longest-established independent publishing companies in London.

Publishing Business has two divisions: independent and contract publishing, and a wide-ranging consultancy business specialising in graphic design, marketing and training.

Past clients include J Sainsbury, BAA, The Walt Disney Company, KPMG, The Duchy of Cornwall and Letchworth Garden City. Current clients include Grosvenor, Cadogan, The Portman Estate and Greenwich Hospital.
